ok guys, this will blow some of you away. this is crazy.
as you know we like builds around here right? well while out doing my thing i found one of the craziest builds ive seen. this guy was thinking outside the box when he man up and started this project. this is one of those all or nothing, "cant turn around now cause
i did it wrong" type builds. ya gotta have a level head and be way ahead of yourself in thought before you take the next step. i liked it so much i contacted the builder and
probably spooked him a little with my excitement and desire to post this up here.
so i asked him if i could do so. if he would have said no then you guys wouldnt be reading this no matter how bad i wanted to post it.
the guy's name is nick, and he was more than willing to let me post this link.
you guys are gonna trip lol. this is NOT our normal build that we see around here by the way, this guy has went the extra mile to do something very few would even dare to do.

some of you guys will like to know that hes another brother from downunder. :D

I like the concept but not so much the guitar itself. The build is amazing.

Very interesting. 4.2 pounds in the end.

stop hating nevin. why not so much the guitar?
that thing is amazing.

Honestly, I'm quite jealous of both the time and skills!

Interesting as I have always wanted to check out either a carbon fibre cello or violin or viola.
Being an avid FI fan since watching my 1st FI race back in 65, carbon fiber has always intrigued me.
Actually my next bike (cycle ) frame will be a Specialized S Works Tarmac SL3 as after 60,000 plus miles, my Cad 4 Cannondale is due for retirement.

Carbon Fiber is great, however the tooling as well as the toxicity of handling the resin and fibers keep it from being a practical guitar build.
