I know you mean guitars, butI was thinking of posting a pic of my old ampeg, since it technically doesn't have a dollar value anymore. I took it to the tech one day to get a grounding problem fixed - 3 months later I finally got it back and the tremelo is broken  My luck for investing in a 43 year old amp I guess, but the whole "fix" was sketch, and the tech never told me anything. I sent it in twice after the first time he "fixed" it, and I told him about the tremelo unit, but he said it was "none of his doing..."

The amp works fine, and the reverb still is in order. Its an old Reverb Rocket.

...any suggestions what to do with it?

Sorry guys and gals, one thing I have learned from being in the military is to thin out stuff I do not use or plan on using. As of right now I have no pieces lurking in the closet unused.

Yes my years of being travelling and saying in no place for more than a few months has taught me that less is more. I have very little that I don't need, I have no problem with getting rid of stuff I have no use for anymore!

I have two......well maybe 3!!!!

They all look ak but setups are all over the place......the Eagle has a warped neck but it's glued on and the Washburn's floyd type bridge is knackered and I can't be bothered looking into it. Had another bridge hanging around but it doesn't fit with filling holes and drilling new ones..........can't be ar%ed!!!!!

I know I could do them up but I just don't know if I like them enough to do it!!!! HAd them both for ages gathering dust.....

Sorry, Nevin, I think I might have you beat!

Image

At first glance, not so bad, huh?

Image

Close-up reveals a whole host of missing (and very important) parts - jack, bridge, selector switch, pots, knobs, pickguard screws... whew.

Image

The poor old Drifter Strat-wannabe has been in my possession for decades, just can't bear to throw the poor old thing away. I got it "free" for helping some guys at Carlson Music in Minnesota move a piano. My son has said repeatedly that he'd like to use it for a "project" guitar, but he never has. These were supposedly made by the Continental/Conn Music Company quite a while back - they copied a lot of other guitars, too. Heck, the Drifter is a little piece of guitar history - can't kill it.
