Lotsa things comprise "art."

Weirdest one recently encountered; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago: A new but cheap steel wheelbarow, filled with popped popcorn.

Huh?

I always wondered about things like that. But then art is a very personal thing; art to one person is ugly to another.

I have gotten most of them directly from the Converse website, many of them on sale. I couldn't resist the NYC subway map as that's where I grew up. Dirty Deeds and the ones behind are the Who. The ones in front are like a Lichtenstein painting; he was always a favorite. The black and white low-tops are Cobain, got those on ebay...very hard to find. I keep looking for another pair in my size.

Very cool!

I used to wear high top All Stars when I was in high school...but they weren't popular then (Class of '88). I drew all over my white ones, and my dad thought I was insane. He made me wash them so the pictures would come off. Oh, well.

I need to find me some ZZ Top or Fabulous Thunderbird ones!

here in Korea they are CRAZY in style. There are racks and racks of all different styles and colors. I have never worn them but i am seriously considering grabbing a pair or two. they are everywhere here.

Cool pics bro

Love the subaru with the proper racing blue.

I had stars as a kid too, but then two years ago I tried a pair again and it was a heaven. The new ones use modern light rubber. Gotta check the custom art ones.
