my avatar-upload is disabled, how do i enable it?

I just found out this one myself.

Look at the top of this page on the 'dashboard' to the right of 'community' you will see a small grey pic of a gear cog. Scroll over it and you will get the option to 'edit profile'.

You will find it in there, but the pic has to be low res.

I have been trying for ages to get it in the user control panel and couldn't figure it out ....

that's not the problem, when i' go in the "change avatar", the window disclaim any further action and it's this i wanna change...

Yeah, I think that's because you are going into the 'User COntrol Panel' above the date........it doesn't work in there. It has been dissallowed and the message is in pink when you go to 'edit avatar'

If you look above the 'User COntrol Panel' in red there is the grey block with the looking glass. It is the pic like a gear and if you go into edit profile you can 'upload image' it does not mention avatar.

SOrry if this isn't what you mean but I was ding the same thing and only just 'noticed' the dashboard bar and the 'edit settings' there this morning............
