Hi Folks,You may remember a few days ago I posted a thread about our local council trying to get a rezoning through to turn designated parkland into residential to allow a developer to build a subdivision of what will amount to be mansions on some of the most beautiful and pristine seashore on earth.Well now it seems that they may even be considering expropriating land belonging to current residents so that this developer can build an access road to his Shangra La.Guess who would loose the most land if this happens?Little Old Me.They are considering taking land from a long term resident to placate a developer who doesn't even live in the province.I am asking those of you who find this action appaling to please write the town council and ask that your letter be put in the public record and tabled at the next council meeting.Send Emails here: townofwitlessbay@nl.rogers.com / Thanks very much Derek.
