Happy (or is it merry) summer everybody.

I am not sure how it is where the rest of the forumites are, but here in the land of Fire and Ice it is the official first day of summer and this year around it happens to land on Maundy Thursday; Holy Thursday (according to computer dictionary).

So do you english speaking guys say happy summer or merry summer, because here we say "Gleðilegt sumar" like we say "Gleðileg Jól" (merry Christmas) :?:

So "Gleðilegt sumar" everybody 8) .

I don't think we acknowledge Summer, but Happy Easter!

.........with no one in sight, the stone moves away from the cave's enterance. The sun is approaching first light. There is a man clad in white robes standind just inside the cave.
As the new dawn breaks the man steps out into the first light of the new day, and if he sees his shadow it's 6 more weeks of winter still to come.

Happy Easter
