I have a want for a custom guitar. I've been looking into Aluminum Billet cut and fabricated out of one solid pease. There are lots of ideas out there. One is a Tele Look alike, in almost every detail. Even sounds as good not the same but as good, "COOL". Any of you guys have any experiance with one? My oldist boy owns a Fabrication co. and can work the magic. I nead to make up my mind what I want. HELP

Don't rush it.

Ponder on what would fulfill your wildest guitar-ly fantasies and then start sniffing. Guitar shows tend to have a half dozen or so independent luthiers who will also build customs. Look for a few.

Re all aluminium, 'have heard they are physically cold to hold and play. Idea is interesting, however.
