Not too much with the guitar. However, I started playing bass as well about 5 yrs. ago. I tend to pick the bass with my thumb instead of my 1st 2 fingers. I figure I'd be faster with 2 fingers than 1. :oops:

same here... when i listen to recordings of myself i only point out mistakes and others who don't really notice is think its great and never really point out mistakes

Oh yeah, I feel that way for sure. Even after 37 years, I still hear the mistakes and still think I suck at times. Others rarely notice.

I'd like to think drinking lots of beer make you play better.
Never had a lesson in my live, must be playing for thirty years now.
Never noticed any bad habits or it must be i can't play like Steve Vai.
It's that one good note that counts, not the zillion meaningless ones.
