PRS SE Custom 24, 3 tone Tobacco Sunburst (with birds lol). What a fantastic guitar!

Went in with the intention of the buying the new SE Santana. It was OK but feels odd in your hands. Couldn't keep it on my lap - it just slides away.

Tried the Custom 24 - same pickups and a £100 cheaper. Loved everything about it. The stock p/u set is extraordinary - incredible clarity and articulation for a guitar in this price range. Great responsive trem and immaculate return to pitch performance on all but the wildest wang bar action. Looks beautiful, but you do miss the full PRS top carve. Still it's a fifth of the price of the real deal so I'm happy to live with it. Makes a nice pair with my PRS SE Soapbar II.

Sorry Fender, on this occasion. But you've had plenty of my cash over the years and no doubt will again in the future..

+1 Yeah Man, Post a pic. BTW, I was at guitar center today and played a AM.Strat Deluxe. The Rosewood neck felt fantastic, a far cry from my AM. Special. The action was very nice too. Steep Price for me, but it made me stop thinking the Music Man Silhouette I had just been playing was all that. Enjoy your new PRS. I love them too, but way out of my price range.
