Good Morning All,

Charlie Musselwhite is on Pandora and I am now looking at a bit of snow on the ground here in Minnesota  .......its been a long winter - STOP THE MADNESS!!!!.

Got some chores to do, then some riffs to play, then off to a fondue party tonight. Should be a smashing time.....

I hope you all have a wonderful day and keep the notes flying off into the air.

Beaubs

Mornin' all. Just got back from breakfast with my old high school buddy, we solved all the worlds problems so we can all rest easy now  . Got some wind and rain today not going to be a pretty day, so I guess I'll just stay indoors and play. I have to go out tonight to fill in on mandolin with my old bluegrass band, that should be fun. Have a good weekend and be safe.

Good Morning Beaubs and all...
Chilly, cloudy, mid 40's here...chance of rain later.
Today is "Record Store Day" Support your local Record Store!
So I'm off in a bit to do just that and pick up some vinyl.

Then to look at another pedal. Then to spend the afternoon hopefully using the pedal while Mrs. T is off to a Baby Shower. Should be a good day!

Keep it in tune...

Was up playing the blues at 8 o' clock this morning. Me and Freddie King, layin' 'em low, 'Whats the matter boy!?...Whats the matter!?'
Bit dull in Manchester today but it's warm, so I suppose that's okay.
So I hope y'all have a great weekend and spark them fretwires and hit the good notes. 8)

Morning guys: we've spent the week having a whole floor of our house ripped out and the beginnings of a new one laid, prior to a new kitchen being fitted. Also, Mrs C is away, so being kitchenless and wifeless I can't really be bothered and am making do with Douwe-Egberts instant coffee at present. Which is better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick. I guess.

The good news is my wife is coming home tonight and is bringing a big vat of tasty stew she's been making elsewhere this morning. That's good cos we're currently living out of a microwave on the lounge floor.

Till then: some hard work all afternoon.

This has been a day in the life of...

Have a good one, y'all.

Cheers - C

Mornin' Everybody!

It's a cool, calm morning in SW Oklahoma. Absolutely nothing on my schedule this weekend but some quality time with the telecasters. Time for some Merle Haggard, Buck Owens and Don Rich -it's gonna be fun!

I hope you all have a good weekend. I'll see you around the Forum. Be nice to the people you meet this weekend - spread some happiness!

And Chet - if you are reading this, I hope you are feeling better each day.

Mornin' all,
Gray and wet are the order of the day, so it's indoors with the Tele, my trusty headphones and some B.B.King for starters.
Ceri I feel your pain, Mrs.E and I went through the "New Kitchen" challanges last year at about this time. We became quite good at Griddler and microwave cusine with an assist from the electric coffee maker and the relocated fridge all crammed into the dining area. Washing the dishes took us back to the 1920's with a wash tub set in the bath.

Cheers,
John.E

Hi John:

HA!

The dishwasher is currently wrapped in polythene in the garden, whilst waiting for the new floor to be laid where it's to go. And the coffee machine is in a cardboard box in the spare room - beneath about 90 other cardboard boxes.

I won't start on misery stories of builders' antics. We keep trying to remind ourselves that nobody pointed a gun and made us do this... :?

...Nice weather though. :D

Cheers all - C

I celebrated record store day by visiting all the independent shops in Belfast, two of which had live music on. There was one excellent blues-rock band upstairs in a Record/Book/Vintage Clothing shop, and in a different shop there was an electronic outfit fronted by a substitute teacher I had a brief encounter with a few weeks ago, as unpleasant as he is, his band were pretty good.
Its a great holiday.
