We have about 3 weeks before council can really do any damage.For now we're holding off on getting the media involved although some have been notified off the record.The reason we're holding off on notifying the media is because if we told them about our walk on earth day and the media turned up and saw a small turnout it wouldn't look good for us and the media would most likely write us off as a small ineffectual group.We're waiting a few days until we get a much larger interest in our cause.So far we have signed up about 350 -400 so I'm told.

not even so dude. the media doesnt care about the size of the group. dude, you gotta give the media time to do their homework. its only fair to them. they might say "well, we dont have time to do anything and if we go reporting the wrong info we could get sued so we better not mess with it". GET THEM INVOLVED TODAY slinger.

We're more or less testing the waters on Earth Day-next Friday with our hike/beach clean-up to see how big a turn out we get.My contacting National Geographic Magazine may bring some attention to our cause as well there will be some media members there in an "unofficial capacity"but I dare say if the turn out is large they may be persuaded to do a story as several of our group are already connected to the media.

When a normal person sees sights such as these, they bask in the glory of the Grand Creator and the love He shows for us by giving us beautiful things to look at and marvel.

When a developer sees this, he sees "all that nature crap getting in the way of making a buck..."

I'm all for "progress", but there doesn't seem to be a lack of acreage for people to live on...make them build on a less delicately balanced area.
