I just bought a Baja Tele when I went into have my Strat get a well- needed set up at Guitar Center. I brought them into the house at the same time and my wife was sitting on the couch in the living room. I was expecting to get the " another guitar !!?? " sermon ... .... but she didn't say a word :!: I left both guitars on our pool table in the basement on stands so she could see the Baja.... that's 4 days ago .... still NOT A WORD !!!! :?: :?: :?: I thought about pressing my luck when the stimulus check comes in , but ..................... ???????????????

ps - the Baja is FANTASTIC - only $500 on clearence at GC !!!!

At this point in time I don't even have the urge to buy another guitar.

I know, it seems wierd to me. Usually I have something I'm saving for,
but right now I'm happy with my Hwy 1 Strat, and my Hot Rod Deluxe. :D
Good thing, cause I don't exactly need to spend money right now...

I've been eyeballing a G&L L-2000. Hmmm.

I don't actually, I don't suppoe that they give these to 16 year olds anyway do they? If they did I'd probably find a tele on craigslist, or see if I could snag a Baja

Mine's going towards my student loan. Not to fret though. My wife is allowing me one major instrument purchase per year with no questions asked. I got the Koa Tele last year. This year is a toss up between another Tele or buying parts and building one this year. I keep telling my wife that the next guitar is going to be for our son when he grows up (he's almost 3), but I have a difficult time coming to terms with this due to the fact that I get attached to them. When the time comes, I'll probably just have to let him pick one and promise not to set it on fire.

My son and daughter are getting married (not to each other) 7 weeks apart this spring. I think I know where the money will go.

If its official, as I thought it still had to pass through the House or something, Squier/Fender will probably get some of it for sure....

Unfortunatly,,, since I'm retired and
don't make enough to even file taxes,,,
I'm getting squat... (Don't ya just love
the government???)

If I was getting a check (I can dream
can't I),,, I'd try to find a Butterscotch
Tele,,, I always liked that color...

Unfortunately I won't be getting a check either.

"IF" I would've been getting some dough, it would not have went for my musical habits, hehe. My Lincoln needs new rubber, I've been putting that off for a long time now.

With this miserable economy and everything going up except our paychecks, I know I'll be dumping it entirely on bills.
