I think I get it. I would like to just rip into the This Cocky jerk that works at Guitar Center. But My mother and father taught me to be respectfull. I normally take the abuse and buy my stuff and get in and out as fast as I can. But What I would really like to say is
"Get over your self tool! you think you're the only IDIOT that thinks they are the ultimate guitar god with your 'I know it all and yes Im better than you' additude! If you're so killer at playing the guitar why are you still getting paid minimum wage working at Guitar Center? Is this employer only place that will give you the time off to tour in japan where your band is a big deal?! Oh if you band is signed why have I never heard of them?"

Disclaimer: This is not bashing Guitar Center who Im sure Fender does alot of buisness with. This is a knock at this one employee. No matter your gender, age, race, religion or skill level, he will talk down to you like your an idiot. There are plenty of guys that work at Guitar Center that are decent but this guy needs to take some customer service classes.

I once argued with a guy at a store out of town that insisted that my '08 Am. Std was a fake.

His reasoning: because it had a "vintage style two-point tremelo bridge"

He wouldn't believe that a mere customer like me would know that in 2008 fender switched to two-point, brass saddle bridges with the copper infused block...

Ridiculous, I mean even by definition easter eggs aren't spherical, so I'd call that misrepresentation of goods. And who gets offended by the words "easter" and "halloween"?

All forms of political correctness make this picker want to power vomit upon those who "require" said behaviour.

Why so many people so TERRIFIED to hear something which may be any or all of obsolete or modern slang, former colloquial ethnic or racial "slurs," erroneous, inaccurate, small-minded, petty or merely stupid...

...is pathetic.

There remains a lingering desire to sincerely recommend they "grow up."
