Outtatowner is the best Las Vegas casinos & hotels blog. We have all that is there to be known including casino reviews and hotel reviews.

Las Vegas Sahara Hotel and Casino is a 59 year old hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, and according to the news sources it will be shutting down permanently. This news about Las Vegas Sahara Hotel and Casino was announced on Friday. The owners and shareholders of the iconic Sahara Hotel and Casino alleged that as of May 16th, 2011, the 1,720 rooms of Sahara Hotel and Casino will be closed for business. 8)

So you think it's cool that it will be closed down??

This is old news around here man. I heard about this months ago.

Here's a Vegas Hotel and Casino blog for ya. My band just played Rhumbar at The Mirage tonight. There was tasty Rum flowin', hot chicks dancing, and some good Reggae music in an outdoor atmosphere with tables where you can smoke a hookah while drinking your Rum and listening to the awesome Reggae band playing. It was neat. 8)

the Mirage closing is very old news! :!:

Just to clarify. The Mirage is fine. It's The Sahara that's closing.

My bad, you're right Shredd6...after reading your post I had "Mirage" on my mind. The jam is a private one at a person's residence (outside) in Spring Valley.

Maybe a mixture of some guests from this festival as well :

If you happen to be out and about the Friday night before, we're playing The Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip. Huge show man. That venue is NIIICE!!

It's very possible, man! Our party has reservations for dinner at Stratta or something like that at The Wynn on that Friday. I've been to the HRC there before - very nice, especially in summer on the top deck (pool)! :!:
