Thanks for the suggestions guys...I think something on the lines of the Jbjr or The Pearly Gates will be exactly what I want. But the Area Hot T is still in the running as well, it retains a lot of the Tele characteristics but it's a pretty hot; beefy humbucker.

I use a Catswhisker Model T in my tele bridge. Being rather restricted in knowledge of electronics I Have no idea how hot it actually is (it's apparently the first one that was made :shock: so it doesn't match the specs on the site...... :roll: )but it cuts right through the mix when I'm playing in my blues/rock band.

Havn't actually checked their site for a while.............

The Pearly Gates is one very fine pickup, shown here in bridge position on a modded Peavey Predator. I love it blended with the middle single coil and I love it all by itself. Huge sound, clean or distorted. I play this guitar a LOT!
