OK Tim, havin lots of fun on the forum and really glad to be here,it's a blast, hows things going for you with the band and all? I hope for real that you keep truckin and have good luck with your strides, your really quiet good at what you do and I often go back to your post so I can hear your music, your from the hart, and thats what makes it such a pleasure to listen to. MAN don,t stop! if it wasn,t for guys like you the rest of us wouldn't have nothin to listin to thats fresh, keep the faith bro!

Thanks for the suggestions guys...I think something on the lines of the Jbjr or The Pearly Gates will be exactly what I want. But the Area Hot T is still in the running as well, it retains a lot of the Tele characteristics but it's a pretty hot; beefy humbucker.

I use a Catswhisker Model T in my tele bridge. Being rather restricted in knowledge of electronics I Have no idea how hot it actually is (it's apparently the first one that was made so it doesn't match the specs on the site...... )but it cuts right through the mix when I'm playing in my blues/rock band.

Havn't actually checked their site for a while.............

The Pearly Gates is one very fine pickup, shown here in bridge position on a modded Peavey Predator. I love it blended with the middle single coil and I love it all by itself. Huge sound, clean or distorted. I play this guitar a LOT!
