I don't name my guitars, but I do name my cats. I name them after tools, hence they are Grizzly, Porter and Makita.

Yes,

I do not really think about it, but names just seem to arise from the subconsious.

My Olympic White MIA is Agnetha
My Black mexican is Ariadna
My Sunburst MIA is Jacqueline
My Surf Green Squier bullet is Jill.

Some of them have not told me their names yet, so to say.

OL

Rickenbacker 360 is George
Am Deluxe Tele is Precious
Blacktop Tele is Raider (its Silver and Black)
Deluxe Blackout Tele is Blackie
American Special Strat is Bobby

I'll keep a cat name in flux until he or she gets one that really sticks. My cat Pangea got her name because she had a one big gray spot that separated into five spots as she grew.

Black guitar, Green guitar, Red guitar and big guitar. Usually only referred to as such when saying "Hand me the black guitar."

I don't name guitars or my cars. My GPS had a name though, Sylvia. Sylvia just died.

I used to name my guitars when I was younger. Right now my guitars' names are Highway 1, American Special, and Blacktop. I know it isn't orginal, but it works.
