You probably already know this but Vincebus Eruptum translates to Blue Cheer in English. I'm trying to show off so taking Latin for two years wasn't a complete waste.
I knew that. No, I didn’t - so that was cool, Marky.

I made the mistake of opting out of Latin and taking French which has proven to be less use to me with my having access to it by association. That decision cost me. Moving from a largely English and Asian coast to to a largely English/French speaking province, I had to pass Grade 8 twice, same curriculum but now with first year French lessons not taught earlier. :x
Ay Caramba!

Insert French swear words here, take your fingies off my maple syrup and pass the poutine.

I leave you with Amanita muscaria:

Passing 8th grade twice must have really ticked you off. My brainy sister skipped a grade in Catholic school. That ticked me off, but not in quite the same way I'm sure.
I liked that video, thanks. I wimped out on the whole mushroom scene after I watched a friend have a 30 minute conversation with a tree. For me, it was something else. But I never inhaled.

I can relate to your sister. I have a cousin who got into university at 14 (too young to associate with most others and too educated to be accepted by kids of his age, and he wasn’t a loner, in fact he was a pretty cool kid).

Well, repeating the grade was a breeze as I brought my books from BC to Nova Scotia. I got perks like refereeing girls basketball. On second thought that was a challenge. But, finishing school meant a year lost of my out of school life. :x
I’m glad you Iiked the vid, Marky. I know what you mean about talking to trees and acting stoopid. I had a neighbour whose hippy teenage daughter decided to happily dance and twirl in a sheer gown in the middle of the night running through neighbours’ yards. The chase was on for close to half an hour.

Brownies were popular back then. But, I had a hard enough time waking up without them. :P

That creative Unleash The Brutality sounds like Hell, SBLS. Was that an original Dante composition?

Caution: This is rather dark, but related to the comment above:

White Hills’ Heads On Fire. I liked it, spacewolf. It’s always great to hear out of the box sfx strategically placed to enhance the audible stage positions. Makes for great pods or phone listening IMHO.

Strangely, there was some resemblance to a piece I had quickly thrown together where I had similar gong/bells at various moments in the composition. Mine were to represent a buoy bell. The thing is I recorded the initial sound from the Strat and I don’t recall how I mixed it to get the end result. It was not designed to be a keeper, just more of an experiment. I’m hoping to backtrack my thinking, and hopefully I’ll get it again to redo the song for a better copy. For White Hills’ effect, I would lay odds it was more electronic based than guitar. Maybe midi. Maybe, not. Either way it’s coincidental to say the least. Great album addition to the thread.

Incense and Peppermint is a must if you wanna join the groovy crowd, Mike. The clarity of that recording is better than I remember it. Thanks for posting.
