Psychedelic music from the suburbs of Connecticut in 1968 (not 1967), "I'm Dreaming" by The Wildweeds (with Al Anderson before he joined NRBQ) in a rare for its time music video. It's even in color!

Yes, they were. I was a bit young, but I loved it all and bought as many albums as my meager allowance allowed.

There are many opinions as to which song was the first psychedelic one. This has along with thoughts of Country Joe and the Fish, Surf, the late 50s, countries contesting each other, and even rumours of early 20s psychedelic like music, added to the confusion.

So here, at least, is. supposedly, the first psychedelic recording advertised in public and, although released in 1965, Kim Fowley recorded it in 1963.

Ozric Tentacles - A British band playing neo-Psych, Space Rock and Prog since the mid-80s. This is "Pteranodon" from their 1993 CD Jurassic Shift. They are still playing and recording today, although, there is only one original member left.

"Pteranodon" from their 1993 CD Jurassic Shift - Superb selection, Steve. Especially good for listening with cans. Thanks.
