Experience Hendrix is kicking off its 2016 tour at the Seminole Hard Rock. I'm want the best possible tickets but the 100 Sections in front of the stage are already nearly sold out. I didn't know tickets went on sale on Oct 29th.

Billy Cox of Band of Gypsys, Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Chris Layton of Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Eric Johnson, Dweezil Zappa, Keb’ Mo’, Mato Nanji, Noah Hunt, Henri Brown and others.

Great video Steve, thank you for posting. 1967 was a banner year for psychedelic music.

Yes, it was a great time for music. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the '60s and early '70s. It occurs to me that except for a few tracks on the Classic Rock station, I live in a radio market that doesn't play music from the '60s. How very sad.

More vintage Psych!! Most people think that psychedelic music was born in the San Francisco Bay area when, in fact, there was more of it going on in Texas in the mid-'60s. The record label International Artists signed seminal Psych bands like The 13th Floor Elevators and Bubble Puppy (anyone remember "Hot Smoke and Sassafras"?). One of their labelmates was a band called The Red Krayola (they had to use a "K" because Crayola maker Binney & Smith objected).

The Parable of Arable Land -- This is weird stuff and not for everybody. I got a special edition reissue of this for Christmas!

That's a wild album, Stratman. I can dig it. Not all of it, mind you . . . but, I get it. I spent time with my Nehru jacket in Lotus Land (BC), 'Frisco, Toronto, and London in the early and mid 60s so that helps.

I listened to the album with phones, and at some point I thought I was about to lose it; but, then I found myself again.
I almost went for the old incense sticks laying around in the laundry room. Ha! Ha!

Thanks, for the experience, Steve.
