if i were you, the chop shop would be order this very second, and the work book too if possible. i got mine off amazon. look at the use books too. ive bought used from them and swear there is a mistake, cant be used but they are. saves money and allows you to get both. you will be very very greatful you got both. but if only 1 has to get you by, chop shop bro. you should be able to get both used though for like $25.
best money youve spent i promise you. very very easy to follow i promise. i swear, a 5th grader could do both of them w/o question. be warned, on chop shop, they come with or w/o a cd. get the cd version if possible. its better.

I will do! If these book are half of what you say they are they may very well help me make that jump from Intermediate to Advanced. I was a beginner level for a long time until I said screw it Im going to start playing with groups and bands. I jumped from Beginner to intermediate over night it seems. Hopefully this will be the catalyst that helps me make the jump to Adavanced. Hopefully I can kill two birds with one stone here. Be a better player and become a guitar teacher.

lol thats the one thing i didnt want to tell you. it dang sure will do that. thats the 1 thing that hold folks back at mid level is not knowing what your about to learn.
this book setup ive shown you will also make you a very well rounded guitarist in my opinion. thats what ive ben needing too for a long time. its that speed bump in the road that many many of people cant seem to get over. well you and i are both about to do just that too. knowing what your doing and why is everything. the bonus comes in when your able to communicate with other MUSICIANS. thats the key, communication through a common language. you already walk the walk, now its time to talk the talk.

thank you wookee.
a lot of people will disagree with that. "ive made it this far and dont know theory" is what they will say. it just depends what direction your wanting to go and what your willing to settle for imo. no its not for everybody but i do believe the better players have at least the basic theory down. i have a friend who is a nashville sessions player. a ketboard player.
we were talking once. he said they have some killer guys come in and play. the down side is they cant communicate. he said that in a studio situation, they would rather have a 7 or 8 rated player that can communicate than a perfect 10 or mind blowing 11. he said time is money and there is already enough to work out and no time to teach the extras to those that cant communicate well. he said ok picture going out on a date with someone from a different country and who cant speak your language. sure the food is great and shes amazing to look at, but if you cant talk with her whats the point?
i see his point clearly.
now im not knocking ANYBODY who doesnt know theory or the basic's at all ok, i personally want more for myself than what i know and theory is the hurdle down the path ive chosen for myself.
