Well in advance of the flotilla’s planned arrival at the Gaza coast, Israel has launched massive diplomatic efforts in a bid to avoid further bloodshed. The Foreign Ministry is reportedly pressing leaders of countries, from which the vessels are due to sail, to discourage their citizens from participating, according to the report.
