I have a friend who uses the Boss. He's a freaking pro with that thing. Check this out man.

He has a lot of youtube vids. It's mainly what he does. He even tours as a one man band. Drums, bass, guitar, vocals, loops everything. He's a very talented musician. I'd say the Boss works just fine.

Those old Peavey T-60 guitars are nice.

He has a lot of youtube vids.

Ha - I've just watch several of NeanderPaul's vids. He's got it down, hasn't he? Thanks for that, Shredd. By the way, I don't recognise the pointy headstock on his bass and electric: do you happen to know who the maker of those is?

Far as performing with loopers is concerned, this was the moment KT Tunstall had her breakthrough which has led on to the international career she's been building ever since. I guess this little box was a good investment for her. I've seen her do this number live a couple of times, most recently just a few weeks ago:

I can get endless solitary fun out of the loop function on my Boss DD-20 delay pedal. Only thing is, after I've watched performers using loopers for a while my soul does start screaming for a proper chorus to the song or even a bridge section. Something to be said for having other humans to play with too...

Cheers - C

There's a guy named Arthur Lee Land that has some cool vids on YouTube showing the extremes of using loopers. Bill Frissell also uses them with taste in some of his clips.

I use a digitech jamman (two pedal older model). I bought it used last December and love it. Best feature for me is the it has 100 memory slots and with 2GB card I have hours of recording time. Some memory locations I use for looping purposes and some for recording music ideas even the entire song can be tracked in decent quality.

The only problem that I have and trying to solve is if i create a track on a computer and export it to the JamMAn in WAV format. The track sometimes crashes the pedal during the playback and it just beeps.

Mh-hmm, agree. That's where actual songwriting comes in handy. (he said, tongue-in-cheek)

Don't get me wrong. I like KT. Black Horse was kind of a breakthrough, wasn't it? She's been busy ever since. Very impressive.

Cheers

I really enjoy these looping vid's. But I may go the computer root instead of a looper, the Line 6 / pod farm I have came with looping software with built in drum tracks / drum machine, just need a little better computer.
