I'm a big fan of, both, the musical and the movie! And the soundtrack, of course!

"Aquarius", the movie version, and "Let The Sunshine In", the movie version...
WHO PLAYED BASS???????????????????????????

The original songs were recorded by The 5th Dimension.
I'm interested in the bass player that played the MOVIE VERSIONS of the songs. The man is my favorite bass player and I don't know who he is! 8)
Yes, I've tried GOOGLE! Nothing!

ANYONE????
Thanks!

Goran

Hey, I thought Chuck Rainey played bass, but I was wrong. It was a cat named Joe Osborn. Look him up in Bass Player Magazine on-line. :)

Hi statoBobster! Joe Osborn did play bass on both tracks, but on the 5th Dimension versions, for the original Broadway musical. I want to find out who played bass on the movie versions of the songs. Maybe Osborn did them too, but I can't find it anywhere. Incredibly little information about the musicians that played the movie soundtrack!

Thanks!

No, I looked up the movie soundtrack for Hair. Then I found a message board where someone asked who the bass player was. Someone gave Wilbur Bascomb as the answer and I confirmed on wiki.

I'm glad I could help you. Can I tell people I have a friend in Serbia? :D

The funny thing is I read a lot about the movie soundtrack and just about everything I could find about the movie, and I couldn't find anything in the credits and cast at the end
of the movie! You did a great job!

No, you can't tell people you have a friend in Serbia! Tell them you have a GOOD friend in Serbia! :D

Thanks again!
