I'm interested in the bass player that played the MOVIE VERSIONS of the songs.The man is my favorite bass player and I don't know who he is!

Hey, I thought Chuck Rainey played bass, but I was wrong. It was a cat named Joe Osborn. Look him up in Bass Player Magazine on-line.

Hi statoBobster! Joe Osborn did play bass on both tracks, but on the 5th Dimension versions, for the original Broadway musical. I want to find out who played bass on the movie versions of the songs. Maybe Osborn did them too, but I can't find it anywhere. Incredibly little information about the musicians that played the movie soundtrack!

No, I looked up the movie soundtrack for Hair. Then I found a message board where someone asked who the bass player was. Someone gave Wilbur Bascomb as the answer and I confirmed on wiki.

The funny thing is I read a lot about the movie soundtrack and just about everything I could find about the movie, and I couldn't find anything in the credits and cast at the end
of the movie! You did a great job!
