I move around, but I do find my way F# a lot. A lot of songs I wrote in the past were in A and Am.

I am liking Am and C#m at the moment but on acoustic I play DADGAD so....well....to be honest I probably don't know what key I'm playing in there.............. :oops: :oops: :lol:

C, G and F, for whatever reason, those are where this mind "resonates. If able to sing, those would be the favoured keys. Also, they are really good for clean melodic lines, which are the usual forms of expression.

Interestingly tho, as church bassist, D, Bb and Eb are fun. Go figure.

My #1 key is Am.
but to my ears,Abm sounds better than any other key except possibly Bbm.
I don't play many things in major keys when sitting around but that favorite is E.

A for me as well. I have no idea why, perhaps I just like the sound of it. Whenever I get bored and don't want to play a real son I just improvise and for some reason without even thinking I go to A. Weird. :?
