Good morning all.....

Coffee is on this morning, Jonny Lang is on the Pandora and I am feeling good. A bit of yard work if the rain holds off and maybe a quick ride on the Harley????

The new G & L is playing nicely thankyou very much. Still need to get used to a bit thicker neck but all and all I love it!!!

I hope you all have a great day and keep a bucket of water close by to cool down those smokin' fretboards....... 8)

Morning Beaubs, only just warm enough here for the wife to take the kids out for the day while I sort out some 'important rehearsals'
The house to myself for about six hours, all my chores done for once so able to spend some time with a few of my 'old friends' and get some setups sorted and some arrangements for the studio next week..........life is good.
Have a good one.

Morning Beaubs!
Pics of the G&L ????

Chilly but Sunny day here...should reach near 60. Still about 1 foot of snow in spots in the yard. Should be gone by next week as Monday and Tuesday it should reach 70.

I'll be checking out a pedal later this morning, Zvex Distortron. Used but as long as it works and looks ok I don't mind. Then I need to check out the brakes on my truck...With luck it's just the pads. And finally, sit back with the guitars and strum!

Bad part about Winter ending is now there are outdoor chores that need to be done sucking up my time! Need to hit the lottery...

Have a great one all!

Good ... well noon

It's raining hard here at work, taking a lunch break soon.
It's election day, the president decided to put the dreaded Icesave (to complicated to explain here is a wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icesave ) laws to the public freeing the politcians of responsibility. Despite a public low class (by my part) discussion with Ceri on this forum about the Icesave I am leaning on voting "Yes" today. I simply don't like the odds taking this to the EFTA court. (EFTA? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFTA and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFTA_Court .) But this is not the place to go to much into it as I have learned the hard way.

Other than that I am hoping for a not so eventful weekend.

Ciao from soon to be more than bankrupted Iceland. (Anyone willing to take in a finincial asylum seeker  )

Hi Beaubs and all forum peeps, Early this morning was jammin' along with T-Bone and I had a great time, Tele was out, yes the old twangmaster was sounding good, notes flying in all directions, even right ones occasionally...was I the ramblin' pony?.....I think so.
Beautiful day here in Manchester, the sun is hot and it's there, so I'm sat outside catching a few rays.
Grand National day here in England, so this afternoon everyone in the country will be having a flutter on the horses. It gets transmited to lots of countries, so if you can watch it on your tv, it's always a spectacle.
Anyway, have a good one y'all and take care now. :D

Goodmorning Beaubs and everyone! I'm still trying to recover from the day that was yesterday. NonniG, political understanding is a precious commodity or, a porcelain commode that had experienced the communication rights of our country's citizens being flushed, when at 4pm Friday April 8, 2011, our Government took over media programming. We the people are, now it seems, under House or Office arrest. Practicing songs is a good idea and I will today hopefully practice. Please have as great a weekend as possible all.
Cheers,
Silod bDoY eOvl ssGNo (Solid Body Love Songs)

Afternoon all,
Spent the morning with Mr Goodwrench getting an oil change and general tune up. Long hard winter is over at last. Back out into the sunshine this afternoon, been away too long. Still picking my way through Crossroads 2010, more tonight after dinner.

Cheers,
John.E

Chicago is freakin' beautiful, today. Magnificent weather.

Priorities for the rest of the day:

Dust off the Schwinn and move some blood in the veins

Rake and do some yard work

Pick some guitar with a beer after lunch, on the deck

Write the cheque to the IRS, mail, get it over with

Write some on the pending nove

Do some wash

Pick some more guitar

Happy Sunday, Forum-ites!
