I don't think either one of them can sing. I think what they do is called "vocal stylings". Hard rock/metal have very few actual singers. Of course that doesn't make what they do any less enjoyable.

Dont think much of either, especially not Simmons. Whatever about sabbath, they contributed alot to development of rock, kiss did nothing in this regard and are useless and completely overhyped.
Good singers for me would be Roger Daltry & Joey Ramone. Both can (could) sing a whole range of styles
