What I really want to know is. Given The Big F's policy of bringing folks up through the ranks. Does that mean that a expansion is happening, or going to happen to the company.

If you think about it the organizational expansion you're alluding to here has already happened - I'd say the majority of folks still don't even realize that we are now at least indirectly responsible for a whole fleet of additional brands (refer to http://www.kmcmusic.com/) in addition to the previously-understood FMIC brands (http://www.fender.com/other_brands.php).

Good news if it is. For the economy for one. And that sweeping up/ making coffee's and tea's job may just come available for me.

You forgot picking up my dry cleaning -- I'm going to need someone to be ALL OVER that duty as well. :-) (Just kidding ... I actually wear jeans to work. Did I mention how great Fender is to work for? :-) )

Well done mate. You really do deserve it. All those long hours and time away. You with a young family and all. You EARNT it.

Does that mean the forum will stop being sluggish from time to time or is it on the network admins? :)

I'd like to think that in our small way we've all contributed to this. We haven't, but I'd like to think it.

CEO next stop. Live the dream!

The forums here have absolutely been a part of the mutual success story here -- I wanted to bring a collection of fans right into our own backyard and demonstrate that folks could, for the most part, behave themselves. While we do have our occasional exceptions to that rule, for the most part the goal is in the process of being achieved -- a fantastic bunch of folks who are choosing to make this community and Fender a part of their lives. So the phrase "live the dream" applies equally well back in your direction. :-)

It does mean that I have access to a small promotional budget now, yes. This should be fun! :-))

I seem to remember a recent thread where you mentioned you'd moved up to a new office with no view. Does the lofty heights of you're new appointment mean you get and office with a window?

Yes, as part of this I'll now be transported via helicopter daily to our top-secret, executive-only, resort-style compound deep in the mountains ...

... no, actually my office won't be changing. It's fun to dream, though. :-)

Ah well. A new office is something to work towards. At least you get to arrive at work in style! 8)

Is the Fender Executive Helicopter as much fun as the Fender Bus?

I also heard they composed a theme tune for Brad. And play it when he's working on important stuff.

Fender Man

Sorting out all the code he can!

Spins it right.
Got promoted
Cos he's so bright
Look out
