Never watched the show and never will. If I don't watch it for J-Lo..why would I for Jeff?

I missed the first performer, but I never saw Jeff Beck. Was he on at all?

i like idol/america's got talent.
there are some good performers on there one you get past the dance groups, rap groups, and acoustic guitar fruitcakes.
it always seems the better guy/gal gets cut a bit to early in the end for the more popular folks, which i guess is how it works on those shows.
