I think it is. The way the story develops through both the lyrics and the music is unreal. Also, the way Pink's life experiences haunt him is illustrated beautifully. For example, in The Trial and Waiting for the Worms, the melody from Another Brick in the Wall (any of them) becomes the guitar riff, and the way the lyrics repeat and echo themselves is stunning. Even if you don't listen for the story, the individual songs are strong by themselves. But after listening to the whole thing after having heard some of the highlights, you have to listen to the whole thing or you are missing out! By far the best album of all time.

I'be never really listened to Pink Floyd to be honest. I have heard good things though, mabye I should give them a listen. Never know, I could find my next favourite band.

+ 1 on Comfortably Numb, best song on the whole album.

Funny thing is, Roger didn't even want that song on the album because he said that it didn't fit with the rest of the album. Personally, I feel that Pink Floyd is better of without Roger, I thought that the final cut sucked. Oh, BTW which one's Pink?

I can't deal with Floyd much. Theres three songs on my Ipod. Time, Money and Brain Damage or whatever it's called (gotta keep the loonies on the path line in it).

Absolute proof that a outstanding guitarist can be very very dull without someone to tell em when enough is enough.

Its very good, but its definitely not the best album of all time, nor is it Floyd's best IMO.
Which one's pink? I can't decide if I prefer Gilmour or Barrett, so I'd have to say Rick Wright.
