I'll say this, the modern Marshall pedals are much stronger than their old square box predecessors.
I've the vibratrem, the control knobs have been bent round, the things been kicked all over Europe. It decides it wants a rest every now and again, and stops working for a week then comes back to life.
The thing has been abused like no other bit of gear I own. It's still going strong.

I had the Old Guv'nor. It was a solid distortion with a lot of scope for eq adjustment and a great booster too.

I have one of the first generation Guv'nors too and I love the kick it can bring to just about any amp,it's almost like having a Plexi in your effects chain.
