For a limited time only, a number of Standard Series instruments are available in Copper Metallic Burst -- looks like a typical sunburst from afar, but get up close and the metallic action really starts kickin' in. The finish is so limited, in fact, that we only have a photo of the Tele® thus far:

Brad, have I mentioned that Fender solid body electric guitars are my favorite? Beautiful Telecaster!

Played one on Friday, through a SCXD at Guitar Center. My brother is a major Tele hater and even he said it was a nice guitar. Regardless, I love any Tele and a cool finish like that is just icing on the cake. Fender's putting out some nice stuff for 2011. Thanks for keeping us in the loop Brad.

edit...I believe the one I played was the model super kid posted, with the 3 saddle bridge. Either way, if it's the same finish, it's very nice.

The genuine article should look outstanding up close,I can't wait to see the Strat version. BTW I bet a bronze version would look great too, hint hint.

This Tele's not part of the Pawn Shop series. Just a standard Tele with a new finish.

It's all good...They're all nice guitars. And the '51 in the pawn shop series would look pretty awesome in copper metallic too...
