I just purchased my dream Stratocaster. I now have an American Deluxe V-Neck. The question I have is about the serial number. All that I have read is the deluxe models have DZ0xxxxx where as the one I have is US1xxxxx. Is this something new?

Yes, it's new. No more "D" on the deluxe, and the current sn schema is US10xxxxxx, I suppose that US11xxxxxx is next.

Why not go back and delete your other duplicate post by clicking the "x" button below your typing, before some one answers it, to clear up space.
