Brand new 2011 Fender Frontman 65R amp and my classic 1995 Fender Stratocaster. My daughter (who works at a music store) surprised me last week with the amp. She bought it on a closeout sale, along with her employee discount for a real bargain, and surprised me with it as a late birthday/early father's day present. (sorry for the glare in the photo...)


The Frontman 65R is LOUD for 65 watts! My wife and daughter were driven out of the room when I first plugged in and turned it on! The drive channel leaves a lot to be desired and is way too harsh for my taste. But the clean channel is sparkling clean and crystal clear as all Fenders are. Right now I'm resetting my old Digitech RP7 processor to work with the Frontman 65R.

I love my '95 Fender Strat and bought it brand new back then. Originally, I didn't care for the sunburst finish (I mean, almost everyone has a Strat like that), but the tone of the guitar when played acoustically, and the quality/setup in the store, really sold me. The Strat just....sang and said, "Buy me and take me home". And I've had it ever since.

I dont know why you Posted My stuff again, but thanks. I like to look at it.

Here is my new baby. 1980 les paul deluxe... Now my 99 custom has some company... Its about time I bought a deluxe... Great tone !!
