You start thanking everybody Nik!!

Have you noticed, whenever anybody is holding one of those things, they turn to everybody else and start shouting through it....Thank you!!.....Thank you!!....I....Thank you.....

Or, if it's not a megaphone and just a horn, then you find a crowd to annoy anyway. :D

Would it be a small guitar effects box/pedal, or a small portable amp with built in effects, or a combination amp/effects pedal? Cool idea either way!

Sing??? Come on Bill, this is me we're dealin with!

Anyways got it done with mixed results. Some settings work well, others less so. It's very lo-fi and very very unique.

Anyways heres one of my favourite settings that sounds quite vocal as I got into it and started playing more staccato.

http://www.carbonlogic.co.uk/artist/nick/vocal-effect

My main problem is that the effect needs a fair old whack of input gain. So I have to devise a small clean boost circuit to operate alongside the voicechanger circuit.

Cool, yeh right!! I've been trying to remember where I've heard that sound before. I think it might be Hendrix. The opening track on Axis Bold As Love.
Well..maybe...perhaps. Wild!!

EXP!

Legend has it that Hendrix created that effect by kicking his Vee round the studio floor.

You should hear the other settings.
I've still to find a way to adjust how much of each effect is in the mix. I'll look at wiring them up to pots, or maybe sliders.

The thing sounds like a Dalek on smack.

Ha Ha, It's a wild one for sure, sounds like it's got possibilities though, give us another blast when you get some more settings. You might have something there.
Interesting! :D

I think it's something now!

Yeah I know what you mean though. I think a lot of the excessive distortion is due to the fact that I had the clean boost ramped right up +15db. I need to put a volume control on the things output too atleast.
Things could be a lot worse though. Atleast it aint another tubescreamer clone.

Quite a productive week this week. Car taxed and MOT'ed, new pedal in the making. Upset all the neighbours and lined myself up with more work.

Not bad all told.
