Pretty unique advertising slogan Doc, but i'm not sure how effective it would be.

Not effective at all. Merely part of the description of the deceased. Now 'way cool's' where function meets fashion has great possibilities if the company should decide a foray into the adult diaper industry for aging guitar players. They could call 'em   De-Fenders

If properly used, they will be. Recycling is an option.

Fender Pawn Shop Series:

"Guitars that you should find be found in pawn shops, but not your pawn shops..."

I would never find a guitar as good as these in the pawn shops around the burg... anything decent would probably have something ghastly wrong with them... warped necks, huge cracks, etc. :?

Neither wash, nor wear, unfortunately.

An anecdote on Keith Richards, from my long-time friend and bandmate (the drummer) who flies corporate jets now. Some years back, he flew KR from one venue to another, and was hoping to get his signature by the end of the flight, at which time our venerable guitar hero had beamed himself out to his own personal galaxy, far, far, away and could not be summoned back. Thus I would question his reliability as spokesman for a product which is expected to respond perfectly each and every time.
