So with that in mind....there's this friend of mine who complained to his physician that every morning at 7:30 he moved his bowels. His MD was impressed in that his patient was so regular.
"You don't understand, Doc!!" he exclaimed. "I never get out of bed until 8:30" :!: :!: :?

There is a really old (60's I think) Fender Tele Natural finish guitar that has been hanging in a pawn shop downtown for years. I first saw it in the early 70's. Whoever owned it before then was a guitar player who played gigs on the road for some time. You can tell because the guy kept every motel door key from where he stayed. He took every key and routed the pattern of each one ( by hand) and inlayed them into the body. It's covered with inlayed motel keys! It weighs a ton!! Alot of them are larger type keys. The guitar is yellow/brown from age hanging in this 100+year old building for so many years. This pawn shop is pretty well known. Alot of known players have been in there over the years. I've never seen another guitar like it. Just thought that would be interesting to post due to we're all up in the pawn shop thing.

that might make a good project guitar. pop the keys out, fill the wood in and refinish.
or buy it just for the neck if it plays well and the price is right. or, you could by it for a conversation piece/novelty. lots of possibilities there. i bet the shop owner would let it go cheap if its been there so long.
