yeah it might be wider but theres not a lot going on there it looks like. again im looking at a pic.
kiss was always known to have these huge elaborate stages. you know that.
the stage was always functional and very much a part of the show itself.
the only one that truely sucked was the 10th ann tour. that was the army tank stage.
very disappointing indeed.

The first time I saw them was on that 10th Ann/Creatures tour. I thought the tank was a cool idea but you're right, there was alot more they could have done with it. But they were floundering around at that time and pretty unsure of things after that crap Elder album and Peter/Ace leaving.

That stage in the photo does have the lifts, Gene goes up to the rafters so some of the classic effects are still there. I like the video screens too. Call me simple but I just love hearing the tunes loud and in your face, Eric is a fantastic drummer too.

i like the alivell stage. the tank lacked so much. but like you said, at the time they were on shaky grounds.

Yep, Alive 2 stage rocked. That Creatures show was also hurt by the opener, the Plasmatics  damn they were bad.

After that Creatures tour the non-makeup years ensued, too many bad decsions there to even start listing, even a die hard like me was fading interest. But the Hot in the Shade/ Sphinx stage was cool. And then the Revenge album was a big step up too.

we grew to expect larger than life things from kiss, anything less was a disappointment.

THe Salmon Festival is basically a celebration of everything to do with salmon and all kinds of salmon dinners and salmon fishing contests are the main attractions with the concert being the final blow-out.Newfoundland has some of the world's biggest and most full of fight salmon and the Central Newfoundland region has the most pristine salmon rivers in the world.Anywhere you can safely dip in your cup without fear of getting a mouthful of contaminents. As time goes on they should be loading up the website with more info.

wish i was there. thats the place i would be. salmon is by far my fav food.
we eat it in this house like its going out of style lol.
ive never had it fresh though, like caught today or yesterday.
i want to catch it and cook it right there camp side. that would be sweet.
there is no way of knowing how old it is by the time it gets to us down here.
come to think of it, i need to learn some different ways of cooking salmon. 8)

Here's a simple but delicious way to cook salmon.First prepare a pot of boiling water. Then spread out tinfoil on your countertop or table.Place the salmon steaks or whatever on the tinfoil.Sprinkle on salt and pepper and finely chopped onion. If you like you can add a couple of pinches of tarragon.Fold up the foil around the salmon in such a way that it's almost water tight-I know a way but it's too complicated to describe,it's called a deli fold. Cook the salmon for about 20 minutes for a 1 lb. chunk in the boiling water. There is absolutely no fishy smell around the house when you cook it this way especially if you put 1/8 cup of vinegar in the water.
