Nothing wrong with a Dunlop Cry Baby. Have you tried a few out to see which one you like better ?

Hi Seward I have a few recommendations

This is a superb buy.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VINTAGE-JEN-DOUBLE-SOUND-FUZZ-WAH-DALLAS-ARBITER-VOX-/260758308450?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item3cb6680662
I have the same pedal, though the above one is a 72-76 model. Brilliant wah, ok fuzz. A good all round fuzzwah with the option to turn the fuzz off.

Then there is this, another 70's model, cheaper. No less good, just no fuzz option. (a far better buy than a dunlop or modern vox wah)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JEN-SUPER-CRYBABY-CRY-BABY-WAH-WAH-PEDAL-PSU-CASE-/270697149047?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item3f06ceb277

Both of those have a more aggressive wah sound than the Morley you just broke. However they will require new pots at some point.

Then as a off the wall suggestion, this comes to mind.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Snarling-Dogs-FIREBAWL-WAHHH-Rare-/200592225204?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2eb43a73b4

I had one for a while and in truth, I liked it. Not the best sounding wah for 'Theme From Shaft'. But good for Cream era Clapton. And it has a switchable volume boost for a lift when soloing.

Rocktron Tri-Wah
http://www.thomann.de/gb/rocktron_tri_wah.htm

I ditched the Crybaby 535q for that and never regreted it.
Much better sonic wah-curve. Excellent value-for-money

The Vox Wahs are gennerally better sounding than the Dunlops unless you get into the Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Guy Dunlops.About the best wahs on the go now with the classic wah tone are the Fulltone Clyde and the Teese RMC Picture Wah.These pedals are a bit pricey but as with just about everything, you get what you pay for.

My old Morley power wah - boost, has just died a death, after about 20 years. I didn't over use it really, but would like to get a new one, can't seem to find Morley anywhere, so am thinking about maybe a Dunlop, or maybe Vox - anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Funnily enough the Morley went while I was jamming to 'White Room' by Cream.

i have one of those. what happened to yours. they are easy to fix bro.

or you could just send yours to me and go get you a morley bad horsie.
i know the guy that designed this for steve as well as the first model.
these are cool wah pedals. very controlable

The Teese Picture Wah works fine for my needs.

Hi seward: enough recommendations here that you don't need extra ideas from me. But just in case what you really lust for is after all another Morley, I was confused by this bit:

Erm, even if you live on some outer Scottish isle there's still the internet. Our country is smothered in Morley pedals. Here's a selection of models: each link will lead you to a row of sellers of that particular unit:

http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sugexp=l ... da2c3e8d38

If it's what your heart truly desires then don't be Morley-less for one day longer. And send me the old one: you'll find postage to my part of the country much cheaper than to Mr way cool jr...

Cheers - C

That first line could have been worded better.

Postage is about $15 to the US.

seward, deliver that thing to my door and there's a beer in it for you. That's the least I can do. If I could do less, I would.

niki sir, that pedal is a heavy son of a gun, $15 is probably tax on the shipping charges. :D

dude if you're intressted in the rocktron triwah i recommend the rocktron black cat moan... you could control your wah and even gain it up with the moan effect to give it more agressivness plus as a wah it rocks ;)... i've tried it and i'm still saving up but i think it's worth it

Sorry I missed the joke aspect of the posts.

As usual, my humour failed me.
