The Cream was/is my favorite, Blindfaith was/ is Eric's better try at another band than Derek and the Dominos.

Never saw him with Mayall or The Yardbirds, but his performances with
all of the others and more have all had shining moments, IMO.

I'd vote "all of the above".

Cream for me, too. I was just starting college when Sunshine Of Your Love was released. I've never been the same.

WOW that was a tuff one, but favorite has to be a...a tie...Cream and D&TD.

I know that is noncommittal, but that is like asking which of your children do you love the most :!: :!: :!:

All of the above, but maybe the Bluesbreakers a little bit ahead of the others for me. I like it when Eric Clapton plays straight up blues, you tell he's really into it. I love Derek and the Dominoes too, great stuff. And I like what he's done solo too. :)

I love Cream ever since the first time I ever heard them, but for me I always kind of liked it for the drums best. Ginger Baker and Mitch Mitchell are two of my favorite drummers and honestly when I was 15 and playing drums, they beat out Clapton and Hendrix for the title of favorite musician in the band. I think I must have played Purple Haze, Sunshine of Your Love and White Room a million times on drums. And of course, Hendrix and Clapton have since grown on me a lot, especially as I got more into blues guitar, but it didn't really start out that way.

The Tulsa band. Eric Clapton, Carl Radle, Dickie Sims, and Jamie Oldaker. But then I'm a bit partial to The Tulsa Sound......... :P
