the new blacktop telecaster is here!! the firt second i saw it i knew i fell in love with it. seriously, this guitar is frickin' awesome!!! really great, twang in the bridge pickup, in the neck lots of sustain, and the neck's great for jazz kinda stuff. pic's and sound demo will be here in the next 12 hours! i still cant believe how cheap it was, for the quality and tone. the candy apple finish looks great aswell 8)

now imma go crank it up really loud 8)

me and the tele being awesome..... :lol: 8)

Awesome news Riley! It's such an awesome feeling to get a new fiddle. Enjoy...and hurry with those pics!!!!! That candy apple finish is very nice. Second in my mind only to Lake Placid Blue as far as Fender colors go.

way to go riley. dude crank that sucker up to 11. if your amp dont have an 11, just move closer to the amp lol. ok, the big question.
now that you have that guitar in your hands, and you see just how beautiful the finish is,
do you still feel the need to put a sticker on it?

I couldn't agree more. I tried one out around Christmas time, and was very impressed by it. The pickups are great!! I actually tried a Strat as well and thought the Tele sounded better. Not sure why, but it just did. I would have chosen the Tele over the Strat if I had to make a decision after first hearing them.

Great choice!! Should give you many years of great tone dude.

On a side question.. Anyone know if all Blacktop pickups are the same? Or are they wound different for the different models?
