I am currently writing a research paper on Fender for a music business course and I'm looking for as much detailed information as I can get. My main focal points are going to be company history (not a vauge overview but really in-depth), marketing, and innovation. I would be happy to hear any sources you all might have aside from the standard internet stuff (there's a lot of repeated information out there.) I would particularly like to know information that fills in the gaps between Leo's business stages, i.e. what kind of work was he doing on PAs while working for Consolidated Ice and Cold Storage Company? What made his pickup designs and so on so much more commercially viable than the competition? Thanks for any leads...
