Tim those where some nice fish...just landed a 4 pound largemouth a little over a week ago, but it is still a little cold in the midwest here and she didn't put up much of a fight...but this weekend should be sunny and 70 too and it has been warmer this week, so the fish should be getting more active and start biting pretty good.

Our subdivision has a stocked lake and it is a whole 100 yards down the street so as long as it is warm, the fishing line goes in the water at least a couple times a week and it is a nice way to relax...people that don't fish sure miss some quiet fun!

This time last year I was counting down the days before we left for a weeklong Carribean cruise and a week in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.I'm so pissed with the snow and my thin wallet this year.I'm going south next year supposing I have to sell a kidney.

I retired last year in June from the AF after 28 years, and and until late October, I got up just about every morning it was nice out and spent at least 2-3 hours a day and sometimes, went back down to the lake after dinner time...yeah I didn't get much done some days! I am lucky with having the lake, but I have to put up with midwest winters to do it.
