How many Stratocaster players does it take to change a light bulb?

One to change the bulb and four to argue about how Clapton would have done it.

That's fair description of what we're about here.

Yup...this the first forum I've ever seen with smilies.....

(believe that and I've got an original pre-CBS strat for you in mint condition for less than $20--and with a written guarantee to have been played by Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Clapton, SRV and Buddy Guy--if it hasn't, you can keep the guarantee! )

I saw Eric in Feb. of '68, with Cream, at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara,Ca. and I've never been the same since. Totally awesome !! He wasn't playin' a Strat yet, but he played his famous painted SG and a Firebird 1. Happy Birthday, Killer ! By the way, I just joined this site today. I play a 2009 Fender American Standard Strat with an Olympic White body and a maple neck. Looks like the one Jimi played at Woodstock, and I call her Marilyn, after the most beautiful blond that ever lived ! I'm glad to be aboard.

Welcome aboard. Hope you enjoy the ride. My deepest gratitude for having named your guitar after my wife. 8)
