I guess that to say that Eric's had a rich and rewarding life and lived
it to the fullest might be an understatement...kinda...sorta...

You can buy his Venice Beach (CA) home...

I've always thought he was lucky to make it to old age....a lot of his '60s/'70s friends didn't.....heroin could have gotten him long ago.

What a life though :

- Losing a child the way he did

- Yardbirds, Mayall, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek & D's, solo...

- Pattie

Speaking of Pattie, found this interesting :

All the success in the world won`t make up for a loss like that. What a horror

Yeah Mike, that's the way I understand it from reading his book. Still, a great idea
to start the Crossroads foundation and events.

Happy Birthday E.C. !!!

He is one guy who should be commended for clawing his way back from so many pitfalls that have come into his life.I hope he has 66 more years without anything negative happening to him since he has had more than his share already.Despite the fact that some of it was self induced, the way he beat the odds when they were stacked against him is to his credit.

..........but still being around to be able to say that certainly is, eh Mike. Our still living music icons are often what we measure our marigolds by.

Happy birthday to us all.

How many Stratocaster players does it take to change a light bulb?
5
One to change the bulb and four to argue about how Clapton would have done it.
