IQ tests prove nothing nevin. ive known some folks that had extreme high IQ's
and were still idiots nevin. then ive known some folks who couldnt even make it through an IQ test yet they are some of the smartest folks ive ever met. go figure.

I never passed geometry. Ended up being a custom woodworker by trade. 20-years now.

Built stuff for multi-million dollar homes, commercial businesses, and Casinos. Go figure.

Every time I take an IQ test I get between a 118 and 125. Good enough for me. And I ended up as an automotive electrician...Good job, but really not much technical skill required.

I work on transit buses. Installing, inspecting, and repairing all the card swipe systems on buses out here in the bay area. I also do custom sound system installations on the side.

Yeah...It's been hectic the last several weeks. If the band takes off well, I'll quit on the side jobs, it's more a hobby than anything else. Although, it's a hobby I can charge good money for, so I won't give it up completely, just cut it way back. Thankfully I have an understanding wife, and no kids; makes it easier to keep up the pace I keep.
On top of everything else, I was thinking about starting up some Muay Thai classes to get into better shape, but I couldn't figure out a day of the week I would have consistent time to go to classes. I've been burning the candle on both ends, and saving more money than I've been spending, so as hard as it is now. It'll pay off when I get to retire at 50

i get a official IQ test every year or so, i think mines about 116 or something.....not that smart maths doesn't make sense to me, shapes, algebra, etc. i'm in year 9, and i'm at a begining grade 6 standard

I had to take an IQ test at the age of 11. My subsequent schooling - and ultimately the rest of my life - depended upon it.

I passed. But I don't like that way of dividing up the human race. In my experience few of the important qualities I look for in people have much to do with what an IQ test measures.

Oh, and I clean the toilet regularly. Nothing about passing an IQ test prevents me from doing that - in fact, I regard it as a very smart thing to do. Especially if there's something else I'm meant to be doing instead which I'm putting off. Displacement activity: the mark of a sharp mind. To my way of thinking. Erm...

The last one I took was in school a couple of years ago. I took it twice and scored 144 and 146. I've always wanted to do a Mensa one, but don't want to shell out the money to be a part of their little club.

There are lots of different ones, but most of them equal about 100 to be the average, i.e the peak of a bell curve.

I wanted to take one on-line but I couldn't find the website because I couldn't figure out how to spell IQ.
