Good early morning to all, well I when ahead and done it even after my friend said it was wrong to change the pick up covers and control knobs on my SRV to fender blacks, I think it looks really good and deepens the whole look of it nicely, is that wrong?

its yours. whos to say what is right or wrong with this. all i can do is tell you if i would do it or not. it might drop the value of the guitar keep that in mind too. its yours, do with it as you see fit. so is it wrong? who cares if it is?

Yeah, I don't think anyone's going to judge you for modifying your guitar. If you like it that's all that matters. Some pictures would be helpful in me making a solid judgment though.

Cool bro, I'll check it out.
I'm busy, I'm tired, my ears are ringing, and my hand is cramping up a little with all the abuse, but I couldn't be happier. 8) I'm finally back to making music with a band, Got a better schedule at work, and life in general is good.

Looks killer Alex! I like the black covers/knobs with a black pickguard. Little more subdued looking.

Right on man...I appreciate it. Stay tuned though, more tunes will be on the way soon. And I'm feelin' some good mojo with the new band.

Ya I really like the look even though it,s against the fender code, and everyone says you shoulden't change an SRV, It's not his guitar, and he would like it, he used to change his and he,ed be proud just knowing how long I saved and longed for my little piece of heaven, what it means to me is unexplainable, but I love the mans style of playing guitar, and his words hit home to me like you would'nt beleave, I,ve lived them! So I'am just personalizeing the guitar for me, cuase it,s never going to belong to anyone else ever now! anyways thanks man for bein so cool with me, your a good guy Tim, I gots to go and hear these songs and then, nighty night, late friend.
