Some of those dirtbags were at our town a couple of years ago when a funeral for a local Marine who was KIA in Iraq was being held. They had to notify the local authorities to get a permit of some kind, the local police put them about two hundred yards up the street over a hill and out of sight of the funeral home with strict orders that if they stepped off the sidewalk they would be arrested for tresspassing...between them and the funeral home were about three hundred Harley riding Patriot guard members and locals.
I went up to see the "protestors" and there were about three wimpy looking guys, four or five drab looking women in long skirts and some kids.
The police were there mainly to keep somebody from beating them to a pulp...and before the funeral was over they were gone, slithering out of town keeping out of sight.
They seem to want someone to assault them so they can sue,but I think they wouldn't live to get to a lawyer if the beating started.

amen.
i bet it kills the cops to enforce these protestors "rights".
going and doing something because the law says so even thought its against everything you believe in has got to be tough.

I absolutely agree that it is in extremely bad form to protest adjacent to a funeral. It is the worst kind of insult to the grieving family. However, I'm sorry but I don't see it as a capital crime. It's simply proof that those particular demonstrators have no class whatsoever. The idea of killing the protesters sounds ridiculous to my ears. You can't really think you're justified in killing someone for being a distraction during a solemn service even if those people are the rudest and lowest forms of two-legged slime. I just can't wrap my head around that.

i think that was said to express the anger on the topic.
thats the thing about forums sometimes, you dont always
know the intent of the person when they express themselves.

I don't believe they are allowed onto the cemetery property for there protest so they should be required to get a permit for there protest a pay all associated cost. That cost to include all Police protection and traffic control cost. Hit these scum bags in the wallet with charges of a couple thousand dollars each time they want to protest. Cost city 1.5 Million to bury Michael Jackson I am sure cities could come up with 10 thousand in cost associated charges for these A-holes ( bankrupt them )

I've read that their "pastor" is a lowlife lawyer, and that's the reason they provoke people, they're wanting to hit it big in the lawsuit lottery.
Somebody that will stoop low enough to walk around with a sign that has a picture of the dead soldier and all manners of vile things written on it deserves to be beaten down.
