It starts with her takin drugs while pregnant.

I know a lot of guy here love his music but I just can't get him with what went on.
Their unplugged thing was pretty decent though for what it was.

I reckon I'd go see that, but if Courtney Love had her way Dave Grohl probably wouldn't be mentioned in it.
On a Robert Pattinson related note, Kristen Stewart (the other one from Twilight) is going to be in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On the Road".

can it be called unplugged when you put an acoustic guitar through a tube screamer? kind of defeats the spirit of the thing IMHO.

No way in hell am i going to see it. It's just Courtney Love trying to milk the cash cow some more, and just shows once again that she never saw him as anything but a big money piñata. Also, it's probably worth noting that everyone that knew, regardless of whether they think he was killed or committed suicide, thinks she played a big role in his death.... of course in this film she'll be seen as the ultimate good guy, going out of her way to try and help him.... which she didn't do, by any stretch of the imagination.

Now that I would go see.

I think it's in post-production.
Also I've heard that Jack Black might be playing Ken Kesey in a movie of The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.

I think it's going to suck. I mean, Ive seen a movie on Johnny Cash, Id like to see a hendrix made (last I heard Andre 3000 from Outkast was going to play a part but that was just a rumour) The Doors..
I'd like to see one on Elvis, The Rolling Stones..maybe even U2 or Geldof.., but really- Nirvana? I liked the music but seriously, no way. I'd rather see a GnR movie. It would be more intersting.

It will be an epic fail. Last I saw a movie like that, it was "DOOM" taken from the video game.. it just sucked.

you gotta admit they do mark the 90's grunge era... now come on a guns movie? what would it be about? velvet revolver and how axl continues to be a complete jackass and continue the band with him being the only real member?

by the way if you want to see some U2 history (you'll get a bonus cause it has zepplin and white stripes too) i recommend you watch the documentary "it might get loud" it's got some cool stuff...

I just can't see anything about Kurt Cobains life that would be that interesting.. Yeah they shaped the 'Grunge' era, but the era didnt last that long- 91 untill he died. It wasnt till he died was when it came to a crashing end. I remember it- and not too long after the music scene was changing.. Pearl Jam release Vitology, Soundgarden was sounding different.. and even Foo Fighters came out totally non-grunge.. before you knew it, techno dance from Prodigy, Daft Punk and Chemical Brothers came about. Nirvana were a movement within themselves, but there were others riding in their waves.. once they finished, others did too.

Ive been meaning to watch that for a very long time :) But as far as GnR are concerned, we all know that Axl would be the main character- because it will be like 'its all about me' and.. it will take forever to be released

but i think that's just the idea man kurt cobain like represented all those kids that felt lost at the time you know? and even today his songs have that message i personally would like to see how he saw the world (hopefully not through robert pattinson ;) ) how he would write a song how he'd stick it to everybody and tell them that it's okay to be different... it was still a pretty big movement
