guy's this is the moment i have been waiting for my whole life kurt cobain is getting a movie based on his life supposedly it's called "all apologies" (beautiful song) and here is the part i think is a rumour... robert pattinson is supposedly playing kurt cobain and courtney love wanted scarlet johanson to play herself... i think the robert pattinson thing is honestly a bad joke gone wrong since he's been rumored to have loads of weird parts in movies in the past (the amazing spiderman)... well what do you guys think of the movie? i think it's about time... heck even the foo fighters are getting a documentary on them i think kurt deserves this...

i reckon a movie about hims a really bad idea. cause personally, if i died i wouldn't want a movie being made about me 20 years after. plus not to mention, some of the "facts" could be wrong. if it does come out, as much as a fan i am of him, i'm not gonna see it.. i dont wanna invade his personal life, or anyones for that matter

i understand that side but on the other hand we may be able to see the truth on the many rumors and stuff that went down and probably see the world through his eyes (although like you said never 100 percent like how he'd see it)... i just think that this would be a good way to show kurts side of many things

first off francis was about two years old when this went down
second off he was going through some major problems musically and personally i know it wasn't the best solution but honestly i don't blame him life has two sides of everything maybe this movie could help understand what he was going through

really bad time to. i dont wanna bunch of fanboys/possers watching that movie and going "oh yeah, lets go and listen to teen spirit cause we're cool!!". the type of music many of the grunge bands made are for those that could/can relate to it, not for people that liked them just cause everyone else does.

i agree with you there... that's probably why kurt is my idol (and i was 1.5 years old when he commited suicide)... his songs to me had a message you know? i guess it just hurts to see how everyone put him down at the time kurt was a role model to a lot of lost teens and still is but there are kids that just don't understand who he was and why he was the way he is they like his music for no aparent reason

i dunno never really got it that way to me kurt had a message and i never really had a chance to live the days he lived i don't see it as having to relive his disturbing past as more of a way to live the good stuff he lived with nirvana but i guess it'll depend on how the movie comes out and how the director see's kurt cobain...

i get you you're afraid that it'll see kurt as the heroin addict facing the end of his marrage and band... i doubt that they'll do something like that courtney love is working with them on this film and she may be a bit of a crazy person but i think she'll get things under control
