Been looking for a nice cheap tube head(50 watts or up). stumbled upon a peavey windsor all tube head. Ive checked many clips and i love the slight over drive. My concern is that it does not have a dedicated clean channel. i have heard it do cleans at a very very low volume. Anyone know of a way to solve this.

I almost went for one of those when they first came out, but I'm glad I waited. They came and went very quickly and by the end MF was giving the things away for 20 cents on the dollar. I remember a lot of rants from guys who payed full price, only to see their investment worth a lot less in a very short time.

If you could get one REAL CHEAP, I might do it just 'cause they do look cool. As far as decent volume on clean tone, good luck. From what I have read in the past, that was one of the definite shortcomings of the amp.

You can get a Mustang V head for $299, less 15% right now at GC (through 3/28).
